7. Vehicle Ownership and Authorization

Certain services, particularly automotive locksmith, key programming, immobilizer, security-system, and vehicle-access services, may require proof of ownership, identification, or other authorization before work can be performed.

By requesting a vehicle-related service, you represent that you are the lawful owner of the vehicle or are otherwise authorized by the lawful owner to request the service.

8. Customer-Supplied Parts, Keys, and Modules

Customers may, in some cases, supply their own ECU, control module, key, electronic component, or other part for programming, installation, testing, or related service.

Customer-supplied components are not guaranteed to be compatible, functional, programmable, or suitable for the intended vehicle solely because they appear similar or share a general module family.

Additional diagnostics, programming, cloning, adaptation, repair, or replacement may be required if a customer-supplied component is incorrect, defective, locked, previously modified, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable.

Any warranty applicable to a customer-supplied part remains the responsibility of the party that sold or supplied that part unless Imperial Programming expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

9. ECU, Module, and Programming Services

Programming, coding, cloning, adaptation, flashing, and module replacement procedures vary substantially by vehicle and manufacturer.

Some procedures may require OEM software, manufacturer servers, security credentials, subscriptions, online access, component replacement, additional modules, or other vehicle-specific requirements.

The successful completion of a programming procedure does not guarantee that unrelated mechanical, electrical, communication, wiring, battery, network, or component faults will be corrected.

10. Diagnostics and Testing

Diagnostic and testing services are intended to identify or narrow possible faults based on the information and conditions available at the time of testing.

A diagnostic result or module test does not necessarily guarantee that no other vehicle fault exists.
